ROXY MUSIC-HEART STILL BEATING-1990-FIRST PRESS EU (GERMANY)-VIRGIN- 304069.  A rare European original.  Heart Still Beating is the third live album by Roxy Music, released on October 22, 1990. It was recorded during a concert in Frejus, France, on August 27, 1982 as part of a tour in support of Avalon's latest studio album. The album cover features model Amanda Cazalet. The Frejus concert was filmed by Robin Nash for the BBC and released on home video in 1983 under the title The High Road with songs in a different sequence. However, the album The High Road, also released in 1983, consists of audio recordings of another concert of the tour, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 30, 1982. The High Road was discontinued by 1990 and replaced by the album Heart Still Beating, which included both concerts. ...more

A rare British original.  Stranded is the third studio album by the British rock band Roxy Music, released by Island Records in 1973. The CD was recorded at London's Air Studios. Stranded, an album featuring collaborators Bryan Ferry, Andy McKay and Phil Manzanera for the first time, rose to the top of the UK Albums Chart. The track "Street Life", released as a single, rose to #9 in the UK. Bryan Ferry listed the band's third album as one of his favorite creations. Matrix A-2U/B-2U is a very rare British original of the cult prog blues band. Hogwash is a 1972 album recorded by The Groundhogs, originally released by United Artists Records in 1972. Hogwash's sound was classified as progressive rock, and it contains elements of psychedelic music, space rock and blues. Tony McPhee was one of the first rock guitarists to experiment with guitar-driven synthesis. This made it possible to double the sound of the guitar.
