MC5-HIGH TIME-1971-THE FIRST USA-ATLANTIC-SD8285 PRESS. Presswell Pressing. A very rare original of the iconic album. High Time is the second studio album by American rock band MC5, released in 1971 by Atlantic Records. Unfortunately, the 1971 album High Time was the last for MC5. Heavy drugs entered the lives of the band members, and within a year they broke up, moving to other groups. At least two of the participants ended up in federal prison on drug trafficking charges, and they were never reunited until Rob Tyner's untimely death in mid-summer 1992.Although the band's debut album Kick Out the Jams peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart, their second album stalled at number 137, and High Time proved to be even less commercially successful. ...more

ROLLING STONES-AFTERMATH -1966-FIRST PRESS(MONO) UK-DECCA - LK4786 Matrix XARL-7209-1B/XARL-7210-1A Stamper 1I/1M (Dream!) Aftermath is the fourth British and sixth American studio album by the British rock band The Rolling Stones, released in two versions. The British version of the record (Decca Records) was released on April 15, 1966, intended for sale in the United States (London Records) on June 20. The CD is designed in the classic rhythm and blues style for the band, but it has become more "experimental" than its predecessors; for example, in a number of songs such non-standard instruments for rock music as sitar, accordion and marimba (African xylophone) are used. It is believed that the recording of Aftermath has become one of the most important milestones in the work of the band. In 2002, the album was included in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time at number 108 ...more

COLTRANE, JOHN -BYE BYE BLACKBIRD-1981-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) USA- PABLO-2308227 Rare American original of the cult album. Bye Bye Blackbird is a live album by jazz musician John Coltrane, recorded on November 19, 1962 at Konserthuset in Stockholm and released in 1981 by Pablo Records. The album was recorded during the 1962 European tour, which took place from November 17 to December 2 and included stops in Paris, Zurich, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Graz, Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Scheveningen, Amsterdam and Milan. The Coltrane Quartet performed two concerts at Konserthuset on November 19; "Sleeping In" was recorded at the first concert, and "Bye Bye Blackbird" at the second. In a review for AllMusic, Scott Yanow wrote: "Bye Bye Blackbird contains only 36 minutes of music, but the quality is quite high. John Coltrane and his quartet... They perform extended versions of "Bye Bye Blackbird" and "Traneing In", which are gradually gaining momentum. This is a well-recorded European concert... It's worth listening to, especially for Coltrane collectors who already have his more important recordings. Chris May, writing for All About Jazz, called the performances "vibrant" and stated that Coltrane's solo in "Traneing In" is "one of the most exciting he's ever recorded live or in the studio." In 1981, Coltrane was posthumously awarded the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Solo for "Bye Bye Blackbird". ...more
