Grand Funk (also known as The Red Album) is the second studio album by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad, released in December 1969 on Capitol Records four months after their debut On Time. The producer was Terry Knight and the sound engineer was Ken Hamann. It became the band's first album to be awarded gold status by the RIAA. It included a cover of The Animals' song "Inside Looking Out", which is performed at the band's concerts to this day.
