It was recorded primarily at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals and mixing completed at the Los Angeles recording plant. This was the first Supertramp album featuring engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band on the next three albums as well. The album... reached number 16 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1977 and a few months later became the first gold (500,000 copies or more) Supertramp album sold in the United States. In addition, "A Little Bit" became an American Top 20 single and reached #29 on the UK chart.. In 1978, the album... was ranked 63rd in the World's Critics' Lists, which recognized the 200 greatest albums of all time, voted for by famous rock critics and DJs.

A very rare original of the iconic album The Kink Kontroversy is the third studio album by English rock band The Kinks. It was released in the United Kingdom on November 26, 1965 by Pye Records. Released in the United States on March 30, 1966 by Reprise Records, it became The Kinks' first American album with the same track list as its British counterpart. This is a transitional album containing elements of both earlier Kinks styles (songs with strong blues influences such as "Milk Cow Blues" and variations on the themes of the band's hits from 1964 to 1965 based on power chords such as "Until the End of the Day") and early indications of the future direction of Ray Davis' songwriting styles ("The World Keeps Going Round" and "I'm on an Island"). The title notes were written by Michael Aldred. The Frejus concert was filmed by Robin Nash for the BBC and released on home video in 1983 under the title The High Road with songs in a different sequence. However, the album The High Road, also released in 1983, consists of audio recordings of another concert of the tour, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 30, 1982. Silverhead is a British glam rock band founded in early 1972, led by singer and actor Michael Des Barres. The other band members were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davis (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They signed with Deep Purple's Purple Records label and recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were part of the 1970s glam rock music scene. In the UK, they have opened for bands such as Nazareth at Finsbury Park and Osibisa at Brixton Sandown, and have also headlined at Dagenham Roundhouse. Work on the third studio album (working title "Brutiful") began in 1974, but the band broke up in July 1974 before it was finished. ...more
