In 1967, Richard Stivers and Tom Harris played in the Detroit Vibrations ensemble. Gary Thompson replaced the guitarist, and the line-up included vocalist Tom Beaudry and guitarist Dan Yeley. In 1969, the band changed its name to "Frijid Pink" and began to perform actively.  In late 1969, the band released the single "House Of The Rising Sun", which became a hit. In early 1970, the debut album was released, which took 11th place in America and 1st place in Germany. ...more

Released on Epic Records on August 31, 1987, the album was produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones-Bad was their third and final collaboration. The songs on the album are composed in the genres of funk, rhythm and Blues, gospel, pop rock, hard rock, swing and Blues. Jackson wrote nine of the eleven songs on the final track list. BLIND FAITH-BLIND FAITH-1969-SECOND PRESS UK-POLYDOR-583059. Matrices A-1/B-1. A very rare second press of a cult album in top condition. Blind Faith is the only album by the British rock band of the same name, it was released in August 1969 and immediately topped the charts in the United States and Great Britain. The recording took place in London, first at Morgan Studios, and then at Olympic Studios, under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. All tracks on this album belong to the band members, except for a cover version of "Well All Right" from Buddy Holly's repertoire. The album received positive reviews from critics, was a great commercial success and immediately topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The cover of the album published in the UK shows a young topless girl (the younger sister of photographer Bob Seideman, the creator of the cover) holding a model airplane in her hands. In the USA, this picture was considered not quite decent, and the album was also released with an alternative cover, which featured a photo of the band members.
