Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sold four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was replaced by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to 1st place again (during Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was replaced by Led Zeppelin's second record, Led Zeppelin II. In total, Abbey Road spent 81 weeks on the UK Albums chart. The situation was similar abroad. The album occupied the top spot of the Billboard Top LP chart for 11 weeks, becoming the best-selling album of 1969 according to the National Association of Recording Companies, as well as one of the record holders of the Japanese chart, appearing in its Top 100 for 298 weeks throughout the 1970s. ...more

MINOGUE, KYLIE-RHYTHM OF LOVE-1990-FIRST UK PRESS-PWL number PWLHF18.A rare original of the famous pop diva.  Rhythm of Love is the third studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, released on November 12, 1990 in the UK on the PWL label and on December 3 of the same year in Australia on Mushroom Records. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Compared to Minogue's previous albums, Rhythm of Love turned out to be less successful in terms of sales: the record reached the ninth line of the British charts, thus becoming the singer's first studio release not to reach the first line.
