A total of 14 of the band's singles were in the top twenty of the UK Singles Chart; two of them — "Here Comes My Baby" and "Silence Is Golden" — were successful in the United States.The Tremeloes were (according to Allmusic) "one of the most talented in the British pop-rock scene of the 1960s, releasing expertly crafted, memorable hit singles", in 1966-1970 had great success on both sides of the Atlantic, but remained underestimated — largely due to the fact that they often sang and I borrowed song material, but most importantly, because I was "too late" for the start of the British invasion.
