SMOKIE-MIDNIGHT CAFE-1976-THE FIRST PRESS (PROMO) JAPAN-RAK-ERS-80494. A very rare Japanese promo original of a cult album. After a good start in 1975, on a wave of growing popularity, the band went to California and began work on their 3rd album at Whitney Recording Studios. Where he actually records all the material for the album, only "What Can I Do" was recorded at London's Audio International Studios. Did you make a record, where would you think? On the iconic Abbey Road! The recording featured the classic "golden" Smokie line-up: Chris Norman guitar, piano vocals, Alan Silson guitar vocals, Terry Uttley bass guitar backing vocals, and Pete Spencer drums backing vocals. The length of the album is 43 minutes, 4 of the ten songs belong to the pen of "Double CHE", the rest are written by the members of the group."What Can I Do" was written by Alan Silson, and he also sang it. Mike Chapman produced the album, and it's noticeable, as they say, "with an unarmed ear," his signature violins are unmistakable. The album turned out to be very solid, it listens in one breath, not a single passing thing, it was on it that the very "branded" sound was finally formed, for which we loved Smokie so much. The album was released on April 9, 1976, the producer is EMI records, the copyright to the recording belongs to RAK records, on apples The company's RAC sailboat is on display. To promote the album, 3 singles were released during 1976: "Something's Been Making Me Blue", "Wild Wild Angels" and "I'll Meet You At Midnight". All of them came from the pen of Double Che, all were successful, and "I'll Meet You At Midnight" generally became the number on duty of all pioneer discos of the Soviet Union.

DEEP PURPLE-THE HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT-1987-FIRST GERMANY PRESS-POLYDOR-831318-1. Rare europe original iconic group. The House of Blue Light is the twelfth Studio album by British rock band Deep Purple and the second, recorded by the reunited "classic lineup" of the group, published in January 1987. In the Soviet Union was released by the record label "Melody" in 1988. The group gathered to record 12 APR 1986 in Massachusetts, USA, but has already finished recording in Vermont. According to Ritchie Blackmore, recording this album was a long and painful process, many tracks had to be rewritten. September 26, 1986 Roger Glover started mixing the album at Union Studios in Munich. It was assumed that all group members will be present at the same time, in order to make the last adjustments, however, the musicians appeared in the Studio, and left with it when they please: the contradiction between group members increased again, especially intense was the old conflict between Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Gillan. So out of all the members of the group only Gillan recorded several smaller parties. Had various disputes over the album, such as title (pace offered to call the album the title of one song — Black and White; also considered options such as The Acid Test, and It's Not That Bad!), songs (challenge the inclusion in the album of the song "Mitzi Dupree"). In connection with the complexities of entry and disputes a test version of the master disk appeared only on 18 December 1986, and, for example in the US, the album was planned (and announced) at the end of October of the same year. Accordingly, the release date of the album was postponed to January 12, 1987. ...more

DEEP PURPLE-IN ROCK-1970- THE FIRST UK PRESS-HARVEST- SHVL777. Matrices A-2/B-1. Contract press at the Gryphon APS factory. There are no stampers. Experts note the great sound of this edition. A rare British original contract press in top condition. Deep Purple in Rock is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, released on June 5, 1970 on Harvest Records. This is the first studio album recorded with the classic band line-up called "Mark II" (a little earlier, this line-up recorded the live album Concerto for Group and Orchestra). Since this album, the band's style has changed dramatically. Deep Purple started playing hard rock almost simultaneously with such bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and are considered one of the founders and classics of this genre. According to the music critic, "the record became the epicenter of destruction, a fresh stream in the rock of the 1970s and a turn in history, in which the roots of the heavy metal style were laid." Deep Purple in Rock became the band's breakthrough album in Europe and reached number four on the UK national charts, remaining on the charts for over a year. His accompanying single "Black Night" reached the 2nd line. It has been included in various lists of the best albums, including Classic Rock magazine's list of the "100 Greatest British Albums of All Time" and Q magazine's list of the "50 Best Albums of the 70s." In 2015, the American website Ultimate Classic Rock ranked the album at the top of its ranking of Deep Purple's best works. Certified as a gold disc in the UK, USA, France, the Netherlands and Argentina. ...more

CHICKEN SHACK-IMAGINATION LADY-1971-THE FIRST PRESS OF UK-DERAM-SDL5 Matrix A-P2W/B-P2W is a very rare original of the iconic British prog blues band. Imagination Lady is the fifth studio album by the British blues rock band Chicken Shack, led by the band's constant leader, guitarist Stan Webb. Released in 1971 on the Deram label. The band "Chicken Shack" is the brainchild of guitarist Stan Webb. In 1964, Webb formed the band "Sounds of blue", which also included Christina Perfect, Andy Sylvester and Chris Wood. In 1965, the team went to Hamburg to work, but not all musicians were able to go there, and Stan had to recruit new recruits. Two years later, Chicken Shack (as the ensemble was now called) returned to their homeland, and Webb begged Perfect to return to the team. The combination of Stan's bright blues guitar and Kristina's emotional vocals allowed the band to gain a significant number of fans. "Chicken Shack" also attracted the attention of the famous London producer Mike Vernon, who signed them to his company "Blue Horizon". In 1967, the band performed at the National Blues/Jazz Festival in Windsor, and also toured England with their label colleagues, Fleetwood Mac. During these tours, Kristina got together with the bassist of "FM" John McVie, whom she later married. Following this, Webb broke up with his partners who had escaped to Savoy Brown, and soon put together a new version of Chicken Shack with Paul Hancox on drums and John Glascock on bass. After getting a contract from the Deram label, in 1972 the trio released the album "Imagination Lady". A notable moment of the record was the song "Poor Boy", which Webb performed as an encore throughout his later career. ...more
