Wind and Wuthering is the eighth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis. It was released on December 17, 1976 on Charisma Records and is their last studio album featuring guitarist Steve Hackett. After the success of their 1976 tour in support of their previous album, A Trick of the Tail, the band moved to Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands to record their next album, their first recorded outside the UK. Writing and recording caused internal friction, as Hackett felt that some of his contributions had been rejected in favor of material by keyboardist Tony Banks. The album received a positive response from critics and boosted the band's popularity in the United States. It reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 26 in the US and sold steadily, eventually receiving Gold Certification from the British Phonographic Institute and the Recording Industry Association of America. The single "Your Own Special Way" became the band's first single on the US charts, peaking at 62nd place.

Love in C Minor is the debut album by French musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerron, released in 1976 in France on Malligator, in Europe on Atlantic, in Spain on Hispavox, and in the USA in 1977 on Cotillion. Now Cerrone is already called a "legend of dance music", who had a huge impact on entire generations of DJs and is considered, along with Giorgio Moroder, the trendsetter of Eurodiscoe. One of the centers of Eurodisco (along with Munich) was London's Trident Studios, which was fueled by France. It was here that Parisians Jean-Marc Cerron and Alec R. Costandinos decided to record their first disco opus with the assistance of sound engineer Peter Kelsey. As a result, an album was born called Love in C Minor. The album is notable for its technical excellence in terms of the balance between the band, the singer and the audience, as well as the fact that it documents Ray Charles' jazzy R and B sound before he achieved great success. It also proved to be the band's last Studio album with vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, bassist Roger Glover, and keyboardist David Rosenthal, as well as their only drummer, Chuck Burgee, who replaced Bobby Rondinelli shortly before the album was recorded. It was released in 1972, after Joplin's death, as a double album. The first record contains performances with Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the second with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, recorded in different locations in 1968 and 1970. There are no live recordings from her first solo work with the Kozmic Blues band on the album, although the songs produced with this group were performed in Full Tilt Boogie Band recordings. The photographs used for the gatefold album were taken by photographer David Gar in New York in 1969 and 1970. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in the US. ...more
