WINGS-VENUS AND MARS-1975-THE FIRST JAPAN-CAPITOL-EPS-80236 PRESS. A rare Japanese original of a cult album.  Venus and Mars is the fourth studio album by Wings, released in 1975. The CD was released after the extraordinary success of Band on the Run and also became very popular. Paul McCartney's first album with Capitol Records. After the release of Band on the Run, Jimmy McCulloch (lead guitarist) and Jeff Britton (drummer) also joined the Wings in 1974. After McCartney wrote several new songs for the upcoming album, the band flew to New Orleans in January 1975, where they were scheduled to record Venus and Mars.Britton, having quarreled with McCulloch, left the band, having managed to participate in the recording of only three songs of the album. He was urgently replaced by American Joe English, with whom the recording was continued. McCartney made the songs in Venus and Mars blend seamlessly into each other, and the album in this sense became similar to The Beatles' Abbey Road album. The album was received very warmly, and it hits the Top 10 charts in all countries of the continent. CERRONE-LOVE IN C MINOR-1976-FIRST PRESS USA-COTILLION-SD9913. A rare American original of a cult album. Love in C Minor is the debut album by French musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerron, released in 1976 in France on Malligator, in Europe on Atlantic, in Spain on Hispavox, and in the USA in 1977 on Cotillion. Now Cerrone is already called a "legend of dance music", who had a huge impact on entire generations of DJs and is considered, along with Giorgio Moroder, the trendsetter of Eurodiscoe. One of the centers of Eurodisco (along with Munich) was London's Trident Studios, which was fueled by France. It was here that Parisians Jean-Marc Cerron and Alec R. Costandinos decided to record their first disco opus with the assistance of sound engineer Peter Kelsey. As a result, an album was born called Love in C Minor.  At the Billboard Disco Forum in 1978, Cerrone received six awards, including Artist of the Year in Disco Music. ...more

The Last Waltz was advertised as the band's "farewell concert",[2] and the band was joined at the concert by over a dozen special guests, including their previous employers Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan, as well as Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, The Staple Singers, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood and Neil Young. The musical director of the concert was the original producer of the band John Simon. The concert was produced and hosted by Bill Graham and directed by Martin Scorsese, who turned it into a documentary film of the same name, released in 1978. "The Last Waltz" is one of the best, if not the best, rock films ever made, which reveals and energizes a classical band at the peak of its popularity." Chicago Tribune film critic Michael Wilmington calls it "the greatest rock concert film ever made, and arguably the best rock film in history."Terry Lawson of the Detroit Free Press comments, "This is one of the greatest films."  Total Film considers it "the greatest concert film ever made." Janet Maslin of the New York Times gave it a negative assessment, saying that it "says so little about the end-of-an-era feeling it hints at... that it is impossible to perceive "The Last Waltz" otherwise than as a passing movie."
