BEATLES-ABBEY ROAD-1969-THE FIRST PRESS (NOT MISS A LINE)  UK-APPLE- PCS7089 Matrix A2/B1.  A very rare British original of the cult album. Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band The Beatles. Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sales totaled four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was supplanted by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to the 1st place again (in the Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was displaced by the second Led Zeppelin record - Led Zeppelin II. Abbey Road spent a total of 81 weeks on the UK Albums chart. There was a similar situation abroad. A rare Scandinavian original of the second album of the famous disco band. Bamalama is the second album by the French disco project Belle Epoque, released in 1978 by the French company Carrere. The album Bamalama was recorded in October-November 1977 at New York's Sonyland Studios, and mixed in London. Bamalama appeared on sale in akurat for Christmas, a favorite marketing technique, because during this period people are overwhelmed by the irresistible itch of shopping. The Bamalama album contains almost all the material of their own composition - Evelyn Lenton and her brother Albert Weyman, with the exception of short quotes from rock and roll classics in a Bamalama medley. The album and the single Bamalama were a great success in Europe and Asia. In the States, the band was still not promoted at the record level. It reached 41st place in the UK Albums chart. The album contains five Chuck Berry covers, as well as Berry-related songs such as "Route 66" and "Down the Road Apiece". This album was the second "post-contract" album released by Decca after the termination of their relationship with the Stones in 1971. Due to the nature of the contract, the band lost all control over their recordings until 1971, which are jointly managed by Decca and ABKCO Records. ...more

ROBERT PLANT / JIMMY PAGE-NO QUARTER (2LP'S+PROMO PHOTO TOUR)-1994-FIRST PRESS USA-ATLANTIC 82706-1.  A mega rare original by two musicians from LED ZEPPELIN. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, who became famous as members of the English rock band Led Zeppelin, recorded and toured in the mid-1990s as Page and Plant. Together with session musicians, they gave several concerts in 1994, the recordings of which made up their first album in a new capacity, "No Quarter", which was a significant success, after which they went on a world tour. They then recorded their second album, Walking into Clarksdale, and played another world tour, before disbanding the project at the end of 1998.
