PAUL KOSSOFF WITH BLACK CAT BONES- PAUL'S BLUES (3LP'S) -1968-FIRST PRESS 2008 UK-SUNBEAM-SBR3LP5058. Kossoff's first real band was The Black Cat Bones.  She was a blues-rock band from the late 60s, which alsofuture Freelance drummer Simon Kirk participated (while this album also includes the likes of Derek and Stuart Brooks from Leaf Hound, along with Paul Rogers). The Bones were well known at concert venuesand they performed as a house band for many bands coming to the USA, and also supported Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. This 3-disc set features Kossoff's earliest known works, including rehearsals with The Bones in London in 1967. Both the content and the sound quality are such that only fans can be interested, but those same fans will enjoy listening to Kossoff's fiery jams when he was at the peak of his career. ...more

CHARLES, RAY-IN PERSON-1960-THE FIRST PRESS (MONO) DK-ATLANTIC-8039. A rare Danish original of the iconic album. In Person is a live album recorded by Ray Charles on May 28, 1959, on a rainy night in Atlanta, Georgia, at Herndon Stadium of Morris Brown College. The album was recorded by the concert's sponsor, WAOK radio station. The radio station's leading disc jockey Zenas "Daddy" Sears recorded an album for the audience using a single microphone. The album is notable for its technical excellence in terms of the balance between the band, the singer and the audience, as well as the fact that it documents Ray Charles' jazzy R and B sound before he achieved great success. CERRONE-GOLDEN TOUCH-1978-THE FIRST USA-COTILLION-SD5208 press. A rare American original of a cult album. Cerrone IV - The Golden Touch is the fourth studio album by French disco musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerrone, released in 1978 on Malligator (773,807) in France, on Atlantic branch Cotillion (SD 5208) in the USA, on CBS - in European countries. Having gained the huge popularity of his previous album, Supernatural - Cerrone III (1977), Cerrone decided to consolidate his success by signing important contracts. First of all, he signed an agreement with the Machat brothers: producer Steven Machat and show business lawyer Martin Machat. They became Cerron's managers in order to promote it internationally. Steven Machat signed Cerron to Atlantic Records in the USA and Canada, and to CBS everywhere except the USA, Canada and France. In France, he was given the right to publish on his own Malligator label. While waiting for the fourth album, Cerrone's fans were wondering where it would turn. Will this project be as conceptual and ambitious as the previous Supernatural, or will Cerrone return to the lingering, pleasant to forget and party style of the first albums Love in C Minor (1976) and Cerrone's Paradise (1977)? Making something amazing again after Supernature was, of course, not an easy task. Cerrone didn't repeat himself, but he made the fourth album no worse than the third. Cerrone IV: The Golden Touch was met with rave reviews in the United States, and Atlantic threw a huge party in New York in October 1978, one of the largest parties ever held for artists at that time. The album's envelope was decorated with appropriate pomp, where Cerron is represented in a laurel crown, and the Roman numeral in the title emphasizes his "crowned" status in disco culture. BELLE EPOQUE-BAMALAMA-1978-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-CARRERE-7C062-18299. A rare Scandinavian original of the second album of the famous disco band. Bamalama is the second album by the French disco project Belle Epoque, released in 1978 by the French company Carrere. The album Bamalama was recorded in October-November 1977 at New York's Sonyland Studios, and mixed in London. Bamalama appeared on sale in akurat for Christmas, a favorite marketing technique, because during this period people are overwhelmed by the irresistible itch of shopping. The Bamalama album contains almost all the material of their own composition - Evelyn Lenton and her brother Albert Weyman, with the exception of short quotes from rock and roll classics in a Bamalama medley. The album and the single Bamalama were a great success in Europe and Asia. In the States, the band was still not promoted at the record level. Belle Epoque was popular in the disco clubs there thanks to the trendy DJs, who sometimes even signed up the band to perform live in the most famous clubs and discos in the USA. ...more

BEATLES-REVOLVER-1966-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-PARLOPHONE- PCS7009 Matrix Numbers: Side 1: YEX 605-1; Side 2: YEX 606-1.  2OH/3AO stamps (Early!) .  The first printing took place on August 5, 1966. Black label with yellow logo and silver lettering. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the beginning of the perimeter and contains the text “Sold in the UK on condition ...”. The usual white or white and black inner sleeves with the inscription “LP Advertisement". The label shows the KT tax code or without it. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-1 Side 2: XEX 606-1. This is how labels first appeared on the shelves.  The labels use the Arial sans-serif font. In addition, the labels used two versions: on the second side of the track, Doctor Robert is written with a typo as “Dr. ROBERT” and without mistake. On the first press on the labels, the name of each song began with a new line, with the first line being written exclusively for “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” starting from the second line down.
