WINGS-VENUS AND MARS-1975-THE FIRST JAPAN-CAPITOL-EPS-80236 PRESS. A rare Japanese original of a cult album.  Venus and Mars is the fourth studio album by Wings, released in 1975. The CD was released after the extraordinary success of Band on the Run and also became very popular. Paul McCartney's first album with Capitol Records. After the release of Band on the Run, Jimmy McCulloch (lead guitarist) and Jeff Britton (drummer) also joined the Wings in 1974. After McCartney wrote several new songs for the upcoming album, the band flew to New Orleans in January 1975, where they were scheduled to record Venus and Mars.Britton, having quarreled with McCulloch, left the band, having managed to participate in the recording of only three songs of the album. He was urgently replaced by American Joe English, with whom the recording was continued. McCartney made the songs in Venus and Mars blend seamlessly into each other, and the album in this sense became similar to The Beatles' Abbey Road album. The album was received very warmly, and it hits the Top 10 charts in all countries of the continent. Black label with yellow logo and silver lettering. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the beginning of the perimeter and contains the text “Sold in the UK on condition ...”. The usual white or white and black inner sleeves with the inscription “LP Advertisement". The label shows the KT tax code or without it. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-1 Side 2: XEX 606-1. This is how labels first appeared on the shelves.  The labels use the Arial sans-serif font. In addition, the labels used two versions: on the second side of the track, Doctor Robert is written with a typo as “Dr. ROBERT” and without mistake. On the first press on the labels, the name of each song began with a new line, with the first line being written exclusively for “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” starting from the second line down.
