A rare Danish original of the iconic album. In Person is a live album recorded by Ray Charles on May 28, 1959, on a rainy night in Atlanta, Georgia, at Herndon Stadium of Morris Brown College. The album was recorded by the concert's sponsor, WAOK radio station. The radio station's leading disc jockey Zenas "Daddy" Sears recorded an album for the audience using a single microphone. The album is notable for its technical excellence in terms of the balance between the band, the singer and the audience, as well as the fact that it documents Ray Charles' jazzy R and B sound before he achieved great success.
