Red Rose Speedway is the second album by Paul McCartney and the Wings group he created (it is the fourth in Paul McCartney's discography outside and after his participation in The Beatles), released in 1973 by Apple Records after the relative commercial failure of Wings' debut album Wild Life (perhaps one of the reasons for this failure was that the authors-the performers of the album were the little—known band Wings, without mentioning in the band's name that it was McCartney's band). BEATLES-REVOLVER-1966-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-PARLOPHONE- PCS7009 Matrix Numbers: Side 1: YEX 605-1; Side 2: YEX 606-1.  2OH/3AO stamps (Early!) .  The first printing took place on August 5, 1966. Black label with yellow logo and silver lettering. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the beginning of the perimeter and contains the text “Sold in the UK on condition ...”. The usual white or white and black inner sleeves with the inscription “LP Advertisement". The label shows the KT tax code or without it. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-1 Side 2: XEX 606-1. This is how labels first appeared on the shelves.  The labels use the Arial sans-serif font. In addition, the labels used two versions: on the second side of the track, Doctor Robert is written with a typo as “Dr. ROBERT” and without mistake. On the first press on the labels, the name of each song began with a new line, with the first line being written exclusively for “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” starting from the second line down. It should also be noted that on these original labels, the title of each song was followed by the credits, followed by the author. ...more

A rare original of the iconic jazzman. Special Edition is an album by American jazz drummer Jack DeJohnette, recorded in March 1979 and released on ECM the following year. The quartet consists of flautists David Murray and Arthur Blythe, as well as bassist and cellist Slip Warren. The AllMusic review, written by Scott Yanow, states: "The first (and most powerful) of Jack DeJohnette's Special Edition line-ups produced a sound that in many ways was revolutionary for modern and creative improvised music around 1980... This album deserves the highest rating of five stars for the high place it occupies in the evolution of jazz, striving for new heights and horizons." In 2012, a JazzTimes reviewer named it one of DeJohnette's key albums. ...more
