The first compilation album by British singer and songwriter Chris Rea, released in 1988. The album consists mainly of re-recorded songs from Ri's previous albums, as well as the new track "Working on It", which reached number 73 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and became Ri's only hit to reach number one on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song "On the Beach" reached number 9 on the US Adult Contemporary Singles Chart and number 12 on the UK Singles Chart. The album reached number five on the UK Albums Chart, staying there for over a year, and was triple platinum by the BPI until 1992. He entered the top 10 in New Zealand, Australia and West Germany.

Fat Mattress is the self—titled debut studio album by the English rock band Fat Mattress, released on August 15, 1969. Fat Mattress was founded in late 1968 by vocalist Neil Landon and guitarist and vocalist Noel Redding, who at that time was playing bass guitar in the popular psychedelic rock band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Landon and Redding had already written several songs for Landon's cancelled solo project and, having invited bassist Jim Leverton and drummer Eric Dillon, completed the writing and began recording their first material. The self-titled debut album was completed the following year and released in the UK by Polydor Records on August 15, and in the US by Atco Records in October. In support of the album, the band also released their debut single "Magic Forest", which reached number 11 in the Netherlands. A rare Japanese original of a cult album.The Blue Ridge Rangers is the first solo studio album by John Fogerty, former vocalist and guitarist of Creedence Clearwater Revival. When originally released on Fantasy Records in 1973, the album was credited to The Blue Ridge Rangers without mentioning Fogerty on the cover. Fogerty decided to do so in order to distance himself from his Creedence legacy. The album consists entirely of traditional and country covers, and Fogerty plays all the instruments. The album reached 47th place in the charts. Two singles from the album became hits: "Jambalaya", which reached number 16 in the United States and 15 in Canada, and "Hearts of Stone", which reached number 37 in the United States and 35 in Canada.
