The album was remastered and re-released in 2006 with the addition of six bonus tracks. A New World Record became the band's first album to reach the top ten in the UK (the previous three albums had great success in the USA, but not in the homeland of the musicians). The album was certified platinum in both the UK and the USA, and sold five million copies in the first year after its release. Indelibly Stamped is the second album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in 1971. It marked a drastic change of direction to a more straightforward rock sound, and, according to the band members themselves, "Traveled" is the only song that somehow resembles their debut album. Like their debut album, this album was a commercial failure upon release, but went gold in France and Canada in the following decades. The original editions have a color cover with a flap and other text for the band name and album. The cover depicts a woman with a naked torso and tattoos on her arms. This is Supertramp's first album released in the USA. The album was banned from a number of music stores in Australia, while in other stores each copy was sold in a brown paper envelope. ...more
