ROBERT PLANT / JIMMY PAGE-NO QUARTER (2LP'S+PROMO PHOTO TOUR)-1994-FIRST PRESS USA-ATLANTIC 82706-1.  A mega rare original by two musicians from LED ZEPPELIN. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, who became famous as members of the English rock band Led Zeppelin, recorded and toured in the mid-1990s as Page and Plant. Together with session musicians, they gave several concerts in 1994, the recordings of which made up their first album in a new capacity, "No Quarter", which was a significant success, after which they went on a world tour. They then recorded their second album, Walking into Clarksdale, and played another world tour, before disbanding the project at the end of 1998. A rare Japanese original of a cult album.  Tug of War is the third solo studio album by English musician Paul McCartney, released on April 26, 1982. This is his 11th album since the breakup of The Beatles in 1970, his first album released since the breakup of his band Wings last year, and his first album since the assassination of his former collaborator John Lennon.  Rolling Stone music critic Stephen Holden called Tug of War "a masterpiece that everyone always knew Paul McCartney could create," and particularly admired his vibrant music and consistent songwriting. The album restored McCartney's reputation in the eyes of critics after what was considered a difficult period for him. URIAH HEEP-...VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE-1970-THE FIRST PRESS OF GERMANY- VERTIGO SWIRL-6360006. A very rare German original of the cult album. The album was released in June 1970 by Vertigo Records in the UK. The original vinyl release was a spread-out envelope with frontman David Byron depicted on the front sleeve, almost unrecognizable under the cobwebs. It was released in August 1970 by Mercury Records in the United States under the name just Uriah Heep with a different cover design (a centipede-type monster) and with the track "Bird of Prey" instead of "Lucy Blues". The album was re-released by Bronze Records in 1971 after the band signed a contract with that label. The album shows how the band tries different genres – a mix of heavy metal and progressive rock, rather than hard rock, which they became known for on later albums. Tracks 3 and 8 were recorded as Spice songs before the band's renaming to Uriah Heep, and featured session musician Colin Wood on keyboards. When Ken Hensley joined Spice in early 1970, the tracks were not re-recorded. ...more
