ROLLING STONES-VOODOO LOUNGE-1994-FIRST PRESS UK-VIRGIN- V2750 Voodoo Lounge is the twentieth studio album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones, released on July 11, 1994. This album was the band's first release as part of their new collaboration with Virgin Records and their first studio album in five years, since the release of Steel Wheels in 1989. Voodoo Lounge is also the band's first album without original bassist Bill Wyman, who left the band in early 1991, although The Rolling Stones announced his departure only two years later, in 1993.  Voodoo Lounge sold well, reaching gold or platinum status in several countries, but failed to chart in the US top 40. The songs "Love Is Strong" and "You Got Me Rocking" reached #14 and #23 in the UK, respectively, and "You Got Me Rocking" became a major hit on most of the Stones' subsequent tours. A mega rare original of a cult album .The Captain and the Kid is the twenty—eighth studio album by English musician Elton John, released in 2006. This is his second autobiographical album with songwriter Bernie Taupin, continuing the theme of Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy (1975). The Captain and the Kid tells about the events in their lives over the past three decades. The Captain and the Kid reached number 6 on the UK Albums Chart, which was a significant improvement over John's previous album Peachtree Road in 2004, which reached number 21. Captain reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200, but quickly dropped off the charts. At concerts in early 2007, John made it clear that he was unhappy with the promotion of the album by Interscope Records, and threatened to terminate the contract with the label. The Star Fleet Project is a solo project by Brian May, Queen's guitarist, and a mini-album of the same name. The album, released under the name "Brian May + Friends", features May, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alan Gratzer (then playing in REO Speedwagon), Phil Chen (session bassist who played with Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart) and Fred Mandel (keyboardist Alice Cooper and additional keyboardist in Hot Space Tour and The Works by Queen). "The result is high-octane instrumental compositions in the rock style, which instantly became "royal" and are not much different from Flash with the addition of guitar pyrotechnics." The recordings were not intended for release and were minimally mixed.  "[May] called the Star Fleet Project a 'mini-album' because he considered it... too short to be a full-fledged album, but too long to even be a single." Although the album was not a success at first, by the end of the year it had reached number 35 in the UK and 125 in the USA. ...more

A rare European original of the cult group. Listen Like Thieves is the fifth studio album by the Australian rock band INXS, released on October 14, 1985. It is considered the breakthrough album in the band's career, it was on it that the single "What You Need" was released, which hit the Top 5 of the US charts (the best result for INXS at that time). This album also marked the beginning of the band's successful collaboration with producer Chris Thomas, who had a hand in recording the band's next most successful albums, Kick (1987) and X (1990). In the USA, the album received double platinum status.
