Corridors of Power is the second solo studio album by Northern Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released in October 1982. The album contains a cover version of the Free song "Wishing Well". In the track "End of the World", Jack Bruce from Cream performs the lead vocals along with Moore. Later, in 1993, Moore joined Bruce again in the Bruce-Baker-Moore project. The album also featured former Deep Purple drummer Ian Pace, former Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray, and former Uriah Heep vocalist John Sloane as backing vocalists, as well as keyboardists Tommy Eyre and Don Airey, drummer Bobby Chouinard, and bassist Mo Foster. In October 1982, "Corridors of Power" hit the UK album charts and stayed there for several weeks. Moore also achieved great success in Japan, and in the United States the album stayed on the charts for a total of thirteen weeks the following year.

Since this album, the band's style has changed dramatically. Deep Purple started playing hard rock almost simultaneously with such bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and are considered one of the founders and classics of this genre.
