SUPERTRAMP-CRISIS! WHAT CRISIS?-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-AM- number AMLH68347 is a rare British original of the cult group. Crisis? What Crisis? is the fourth studio album by the prog rock band Supertramp, released in 1975. Crisis? What Crisis? the band's first CD recorded in the USA (Los Angeles). The title of the album is taken from Fred Zinnerman's feature film "The Day of the Jackal", released in 1973. Allmusic fully praised the album in their retrospective review, praising Rick Davis' keyboard work, Roger Hodgson's vocals, and John Helliwell's saxophone. They especially noted the emotionally powerful songwriting, which, in their opinion, gave the album "a warm personality and a charmingly subtle mood" The album received platinum in the USA and Canada, gold in Europe and Britain.

Although the album was recorded exclusively by Rogers, it featured many guest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Jason Bonham, David Gilmour, Buddy Guy, Brian May, Steve Miller, Gary Moore, Trevor Rabin, Richie Sambora, Neil Shawn, Brian Setzer and Slash. The album peaked at number four in the US and number three in the UK. The album contains the singles "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", which peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles chart and number two in the US, and "The Bitch Is Back", which peaked at number 15 in the UK and number four in the US. Both singles reached number one in Canada on the national RPM 100 Top Singles Chart, as did the album itself. The album was met with lukewarm reviews on its release, and legacy reviews do not consider this record one of John's best works from his peak period of the early 1970s. However, the album was a commercial success and was certified double platinum in the US, as well as being certified gold in the UK. A rare British original by a great guitarist. Corridors of Power is the second solo studio album by Northern Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released in October 1982.  The album contains a cover version of the Free song "Wishing Well". In the track "End of the World", Jack Bruce from Cream performs the lead vocals along with Moore. Later, in 1993, Moore joined Bruce again in the Bruce-Baker-Moore project. The album also featured former Deep Purple drummer Ian Pace, former Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray, and former Uriah Heep vocalist John Sloane as backing vocalists, as well as keyboardists Tommy Eyre and Don Airey, drummer Bobby Chouinard, and bassist Mo Foster. In October 1982, "Corridors of Power" hit the UK album charts and stayed there for several weeks. Moore also achieved great success in Japan, and in the United States the album stayed on the charts for a total of thirteen weeks the following year. ...more
