Brothers in Arms spent a total of 14 consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Albums chart (including ten consecutive weeks from January 18 to March 22, 1986), nine consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 in the US, and 34 consecutive weeks at number one on the Australian Albums chart. It was the first album to receive a tenfold platinum certification in the UK[6] and became the eighth best-selling album in the history of the British charts. INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin.While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines.
