A very rare British original with the first matrices. A Day at the Races is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on December 10, 1976 in the United Kingdom and December 18, 1976 in the United States.The album's title, "A Day at the Races," is taken from the repertoire of the American comedians of the 1930s, the Marx brothers. A Day at the Races immediately came under fire from critics. Queen was accused of unsuccessfully trying to repeat A Night At The Opera.
