Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road in the composition of Bluesbrakers there have been noticeable changes: Peter green went to collect his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar went to Jeff Beck. The vacant position of drummer John Keefe took Hartley's, and replacing the lead guitarist was more difficult - because the new musician would have to withstand the comparison with Clapton and green. John recalled that on one of concerts when Eric for some reason didn't show up on time, came a young boy who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers. John Mayall – the man, the legend, the godfather of British Blues, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader, who gave a start in life the vast number of musicians who have reached fame later solo career. The album was recorded and mixed in California in late 1992 and released in 1993 on the firm Silvertone Records. To Bluesbreakers headed by Coco Montoya on this album joined by guests: buddy guy I Could Cry; Mavis Stapl and old ally Mick Taylor is a Wake Up Call and Not at Home; and also undeservedly unmentioned on the outer cover of albert Collins in Light The Fuse and I'm a Sucker for Love. In addition, when writing help session musicians – guitarist David Grissom, keyboardist Tom canning, percussionist Mike Bruno, plus on half of the tracks are present horn section of Joe Sublette and Darrell Leonard. The music album more Blues-rock than Blues, but it does not spoil, is one of the best albums Majalla: tight, punchy and memorable, with quite a tight sound and excellent musicianship.
