Rare American promo of the original. Muscle of Love is the seventh Studio album by American rock singer Alice Cooper, released in 1973. This is the last Studio album recorded by him as part of the rock band of the same name. This is a concept album about teen angst, life on the streets of new York, and male prostitution. Instead of the usual packaging, the original LP was issued in small corrugated cardboard, hinting that such packaging may have contained something other than a record, and the "spot" was deliberately printed along the bottom. The song "Man with the Golden Gun" was planned as the title song for the Film the man with the Golden Gun, until the producers strongly opposed it.
