GOTAN PROJECT-LUNATICO (2LP) - 2006-FIRST PRESS UK-YA BASTA-XLLP 195.  A very rare original of the cult album. Lunático is the second album by Gotan Project . It was released in 2006 by Paris-based Ya Basta Records, under the management of Philippe Cohen Solal. The album is named Lunático after the racehorse of the legendary tango master Carlos Gardel. The album is a collaboration with the American band Calexico, recorded in Tucson, Arizona, and a cover of the song by Ry Cooder in Paris, Texas . The rest of the album was recorded in Paris and Buenos Aires . The first single from the album was "Diferente", and the second was "Mi Confesión". The third single was "La Vigüela". The album so captured the hearts of listeners and critics that it was at the top of the charts in 25 countries for a year. Co-produced by johnny Sandlin and the band, the album was released in August 1973 in the United States by Capricorn Records.  On the cover of the album depicts a photo of Valora Trucks, son of drummer Butch Trucks and his wife Linda. The back cover features a photo of Brittany Oakley, daughter of berry Oakley and his wife, Linda. The album represented The allmans ' commercial peak: it sold more than seven million copies worldwide, ranking at the time in the top 200 pop albums for five weeks. "Ramblin' Man " became the band's first and only hit, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. Christine Perfect is the self-titled debut solo album by former Chicken Shack keyboardist and singer Christina perfect (later known as Christina McVie). The album was released immediately after Perfect left Chicken Shack, but before she joined Fleetwood Mac. It featured Etta James ' "I'd Rather Go Blind", which was previously a hit single for Chicken Shack. Released in 1970, the album was originally intended to be called "I'm on My Way", as evidenced by copies of the single "I'm Too Far Gone (to Turn Around)". it was re-released in 1976 as the legendary Christine Perfect album.  ...more
