Mega rare British original by the founder of the British pop wave. Cheapness and Beauty is the fifth Studio album by Boy George, released in 1995. It reached number 44 on the UK albums chart. After achieving his biggest solo success in the US and Canada with the theme song for the film the Crying Game in 1992, George decided to move away from the electronic sound and record some rock-oriented tracks with a glam rock edge. One of the reasons he took this step was to revisit his teenage years while writing his autobiography Take It Like A Man, which was released around the same time as the album. The album also marked the first time that George did not hide his homosexual sexuality in the lyrics. The tracks "Genocide Peroxide" and "Il Adore" were later included in the musical taboo. The album opens with a cover version of Iggy Pop's"Funtime", which was released as a single and reached number 45 on the UK singles chart. A very rare British original of one of the cult jazz albums.  This is an album by two American jazz saxophonists Gerry Mulligan and Johnny Hodges with performances recorded in 1959, released on the Verve label. The Allmusic website gave the album 4 stars, stating: "Gerry Mulligan's 1959 Studio date with Johnny Hodges is one of the most enjoyable sessions of his meetings with various saxophonists for Verve ... Throughout the performance, the two saxophonists are perfectly combined with each other and complement each other. effort, even though it was their only opportunity to record together in the Studio." ...more
