It was released in 2006 by Paris-based Ya Basta Records, under the management of Philippe Cohen Solal. The album is named Lunático after the racehorse of the legendary tango master Carlos Gardel. The album is a collaboration with the American band Calexico, recorded in Tucson, Arizona, and a cover of the song by Ry Cooder in Paris, Texas . The rest of the album was recorded in Paris and Buenos Aires . The first single from the album was "Diferente", and the second was "Mi Confesión". The third single was "La Vigüela". The album so captured the hearts of listeners and critics that it was at the top of the charts in 25 countries for a year. And the results of the year were expected-multi-gold in 20 countries, and as the album of the year placed the US (Billboard)- 2nd place, Belgian Albums (Ultratop Flanders)- 3rd place, Italian albums (FIMI) - 4th place. and so on.

ARKTIS-ARKTIS TAPES-1975-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-BON BON-BBR7502. Mega rare short-run original of one of the key prog albums of the 70s. Arktis - Arktis Tapes 1975. The second album of the band from Bonn. Unfortunately, the first album did not find a "buyer", and in 1974, with the assistance of Konrad Planck, Arktis recorded a second demo album, released in may 1975 with a circulation of 500 copies-again for promotion purposes. The music here is somewhat restrained, but no less attractive and covering. In this music, you can feel not only a craving for art-rock (prolonged instrumental pieces), but also the sprouts of guitar technique, characteristic of what in the next decade was called "heavy metal". They were founded in 1970 by classical multi-instrumentalist Peter Solly and jazz drummer Keith Webb, two members of Terry reed's band that was part of the opening act for The Rolling Stones on their 1969 American tour . Other band members were Derek Foley (guitar and vocals), formerly of Grisby Dyke; Lou Stonebridge (keyboards and vocals) of Glass Menagerie, who released five progressive rock and psychedelic rock singles, as well as lead singer Grisby Dyke; and Peter Beckett (bass guitar, vocals), who came from Liverpool-based Winston G and the Wicked, and later in the final incarnation of World of Oz .They played at venues across the UK, working to develop their sound by performing a mix of rock, Blues, soul, jazz and Latin music. The paladin's use of a double keyboard also created a unique sound. These performances were noticed by Bronze Records (who also recorded Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann). On January 8, 1971, paladin entered Olympic Studios in London to record his debut self-titled first album, produced by Filamore Lincoln. Reviews were good, but sales were disappointing. ...more
