A rare European original legend in rock music. Still Got the Blues is the eighth studio album by Northern Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released in 1990. The album marked a significant change in style for Moore, [1] [2] who prior to this album was primarily known for his hard rock work with Thin Lizzy, G-Force, Greg Lake, and during his extensive solo career, as well as his jazz fusion work with Colosseum II. As the name suggests, Still Got The Blues demonstrates Moore's commitment to electric blues. The title track was released as a single and peaked at # 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 16, 1991. After a massive seller hit, X scored hits with "Suicide Blonde" and "Disappear" (both Top 10 in the US). Both singles were later used on the soundtrack to the 1991 American teen comedy Mystery Date. X was the third consecutive INXS album produced by Chris Thomas. The name, Roman numeral "10", represents the band's tenth year of existence since the release of their debut album in 1980.  The album was certified platinum in January 1991 by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales of over 300,000 copies. X proved successful across Europe, reaching number 5 in Switzerland, number 7 in France, number 9 in Germany, number 10 in Sweden, and number 13 in Norway.
