The film was attended by popular rock musicians (including Viktor Tsoi), the soundtrack included songs by Boris Grebenshchikov and the group "Aquarium", Zhanna Aguzarova with the group" Bravo", the group"Cinema". Thus, the film "Assa" became one of the main film evidence of Russian rock, which reached its peak in the second half of the 1980s. The film was mostly shot in Yalta in November-December 1986. The film premiered on March 25, 1988 at the Moscow DC MEL'z as part of the Assa art-rock parade. Alexander Vitalyevich Sitkovetsky (born April 5, 1955, Moscow) is a Soviet rock musician, guitarist, vocalist, and composer. Founder and leader of the groups "Leap Summer" and "Autograph". Recognized as one of the best Russian guitarists. In 1990, "Autograph" disbanded. Sitkovetsky moves to America. He begins to work on a solo career and releases his first (and first in the USSR) guitar instrumental album Zello, which became the "album of the year" (1992) in Russia, and earlier the video for the play "Camels" from this album, shot by Mikhail Khleborodov with Fyodor Bondarchuk in the title role, won the main prize of the annual video competition in Moscow in April 1991.
