"Decadence" is the third studio album by the Soviet rock band "Agatha Christie", recorded in the Sverdlovsk "Studio 8" in 1990. The album turned out to be less well-known (but more complex in sound) than the previous ones, after its release, the band had a creative pause that lasted until 1992. An interesting feature of the songs of this album were quite large in volume and unusual in meaning lyrics (for the first time in the history of the band, they all belonged to the pen of one member — Gleb Samoilov, only one of the lyrics was written by the keyboardist of the group Alexander Kozlov). It was recorded primarily at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals, and mixing completed at the Los Angeles Recording plant. It was the first Supertramp album to feature engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band on the next three albums as well. The album ... reached number 16 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1977 and a few months later became the first gold (500,000 copies or more) Supertramp album sold in the United States. JOHN, ELTON-CARIBOU-1974-FIRST PRESS UK-DJM-DJLPH439. A rare British original of the master of the British stage. Caribou is the eighth studio album by Elton John, released in 1974. The album peaked at number four in the US and number three in the UK. The album contains the singles "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", which peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles chart and number two in the US, and "The Bitch Is Back", which peaked at number 15 in the UK and number four in the US. Both singles reached number one in Canada on the national RPM 100 Top Singles Chart, as did the album itself. The album was met with lukewarm reviews on its release, and legacy reviews do not consider this record one of John's best works from his peak period of the early 1970s. However, the album was a commercial success and was certified double platinum in the US, as well as being certified gold in the UK. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the 17th Annual Grammy Awards.  ...more

ALAN PRICE-O LUCKY MAN-1973-ORIGINAL PRESS 1974 UK-WARNER-K46227. Matrix A-2/B-1. A rare early edition of the cult album. Alan Price said that Lindsay Anderson wanted to make a documentary about Price and his band touring England, but the cost of licensing the songs they performed was too high. While Sherwin and McDowell were developing the script, Anderson decided that Price should write the score, and sent him the script, indicating where he would like to see the songs. Price wrote almost all of the songs before filming began. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. In the United States, it entered the top LPs and Tape Chart on August 11, 1973, and spent 14 weeks on the chart, peaking at # 117. The score won the 1974 BAFTA Award for Best Film Score.  ...more
