A rare European original . Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors is the debut solo album by Scottish vocalist Marillion, released in 1990. Fish left Marillion in 1988. Although the recording sessions for this album ended in June 1989, EMI Records decided to postpone the release until early 1990 to avoid a clash with the Marillion Seasons End album released in September. However, the track "State of Mind", featuring guest musician John Keeble of Spandau Ballet on drums, was released as a single on October 16, 1989, more than three months before the album's release.  The only Fish album released by EMI), it was also his most commercially successful. A very rare British original of the iconic album. Firefly is the 10th studio album by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in February 1977 on Bronze Records in the United Kingdom and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. It was the band's first album without David Byron, the former lead vocalist and founding member of the band, who was replaced by John Lawton. Bassist Trevor Bolder made his debut with Uriah Heep on this album and, apart from an 18-month hiatus in the early 1980s, he was a member of this band until his death in 2013. He introduced guitarist Snowy White, who would also perform on the next album, and also toured with Thin Lizzy between 1980 and 1982; he replaced Gary Moore as the permanent guitarist. White has previously worked with Cliff Richard, Peter Green, and Pink Floyd. Eighteen-year-old Darren Wharton also played keyboards in Chinatown, and later that year he joined Thin Lizzy as a permanent member.  The album reached high positions in the charts, although according to critics it was weaker than Black rose, UK Albums Chart-7 place, Billboard 200 (USA) - 120 place.  ...more
