Trio is a live album by Oscar Peterson, Joe pass and Niels-Henning Oersted Pedersen, who was released in 1974. The album received a Grammy award for best jazz group in 1975. In his Allmusic review, critic Scott Yanov praised the game a pass and Pedersen, but wrote: "the reason to acquire this set is for the remarkable Oscar Peterson. The pianist brilliantly investigates several jazz styles...Peterson really flourished during his years with the label Pablo Norman Granz, and it was one of his best records of that period. ...more

Rare British original of the cult album. Let's Dance is the 15th studio album by English singer David Bowie, released on April 14, 1983 by EMI . After the release of the album Scary Monsters (1980), Bowie began a period of numerous musical collaborations and film performances. During this time, he also left RCA Records due to dissatisfaction. After signing a contract with EMI in late 1982, Bowie decided that he wanted to start all over again, and chose Nile Rodgers from the rock disco band Chic to co-produce his next record. The album was recorded in December 1982 at the power plant in New York. The sessions featured a completely new line-up, including then unknown Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan on lead guitar. For the first time, Bowie did not play any instruments on the album, but only sang. Musically, Let's Dance has been described as a post-disco record with elements of dance rock, dance pop and new wave. It contains three cover versions: Iggy Pop's song "China Girl", which Bowie and Pop recorded together for the album Pop's The Idiot (1977); Metro's song" Criminal World " and a reworking of her song. "Cat People (Putting Out the Fire)", originally recorded by Bowie and Giorgio Moroder in 1982 for the film of the same name . Let's Dance was met with huge commercial success, reaching number one in many countries, and turned Bowie into a major superstar; it remains Bowie's best-selling album. It reached number four in the UK charts. RS were surprised by the release of the album and stated: "We didn't know that this record would be released. In our opinion, it is below the standard that we are trying to keep up with, both in the choice of content and in the design of the cover." These 12 songs, dating from the mid-1960s, were chosen because they never appeared on British studio albums, some of them were originally released only on singles, and some up to that point were released only on American studio albums. ...more

CUBY + BLIZZARDS-APPLEKNOCKERS FLOPHOUSE-1969-THE FIRST UK PRESS-PHILIPS SBL7918. Mega rare British original blues monsters. In the spring of 1969, CUBY and THE BLIZZARDS toured the Netherlands with FLEETWOOD MAC, and in August went on a tour of the UK, where she also managed to perform at the prestigious Marquee Club. But, despite the very successful tour and the increasing popularity of the band, it soon had serious problems with the composition. Van Eyck left for TRACE, and Dick Beckman moved to LIVIN ' BLUES, and in addition to everything, Herman Brood had problems with the law – he was arrested in The Hague for drug possession, and he also had to leave the band. Masks and Gelling completed the line-up with natives of the BLUES DIMENSION group Herman Deinum, Hans Lafaille, Helmig Van Der Vegt. The album “Appleknockers Flophouse”was recorded in this line-up. Musically, the album was noticeably different from the previous ones.
