Released on August 12, 1991 by Elektra Records, it is commonly referred to as the Black Album due to its packaging design. His recording took place in a one-on-one studio in Los Angeles for eight months, during which Metallica often clashed with its new producer Bob Rock. The album marked a change in the band's music from the thrash metal style of their previous four albums to a slower, heavier and more refined sound. Metallica performed Metallica in full during the 2012 Black Albums European Tour. In 2020, the album was ranked 235th in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest Albums of all time. In December 2019, Metallica became the fourth release in American history to reach the 550-week milestone on the Billboard 200 chart. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during the long absences of Lennon and Yoko Ono. The song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" was attended by Elton John. He made a bet with Lennon that the song would be able to take first place in the American hit parade (which was previously not possible for any one single solo Lennon). If this would have happened, Lennon was required to attend the Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise, because, "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" actually managed to climb to the top of the chart. The song "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on solo albums Lennon. Mega rare original icon in rock music. The Doors is the debut album by the American band The Doors, recorded in 1966 and released in 1967 (Elektra EKS-74007). It includes the song "Light My Fire" (the solo release of which allowed the band to break into the music charts), significantly expanded instrumentally compared to the single version. The album was released in early 1967. The author of the front cover of the record was Guy Webster (Eng. Guy Webster), the back-Joel Brodsky (Eng. Joel Brodsky), who continued to work with the team after that. MAYALL, JOHN-CRUSADE-1967-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-DECCA-SKL4890. Matrices A-1W/B-1W. A very rare original of the cult blues rocker. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road, there have been noticeable changes in the composition of the Bluesbreakers: Peter Green left to form his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar moved to Jeff Beck. John took Keef Hartley to the vacant drummer's place, and it was more difficult to replace the lead guitarist - after all, the new musician would have to bear comparison with both Clapton and Green. John remembered that at one of the concerts, when Eric for some reason did not show up on time, a young boy came who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers. Mayall didn't have much choice, and he invited the young guitarist to the stage. He demonstrated a good knowledge of the material and excellent technique, and John was impressed with his performance. But after the concert, the boy left without leaving his coordinates. Now Mayall wanted to find this musician, and in the end he was able to do it by placing an ad in Melody Maker.
