U2-ZOOROPA-1993-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-HOLLAND-ISLAND-74321153711, A very rare European original of the cult album.Zooropa is the eighth studio album by the Irish rock band U2. Produced by Flood, Brian Inoi and The Edge, it was released on July 5, 1993 on Island Records. Zooropa received generally positive reviews from critics. Despite the fact that none of his three singles—"Numb", "Lemon" and "Stay (Far, so Close!)"—was a consistent hit in different regions, the record sold well after release, entering the top ten out of 26 countries. However, the duration of the album's recording and sales over the entire lifetime of 7 million copies were less than that of Achtung Baby. In 1994, Zooropa won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. Although the album was a success, and music journalists consider it as one of the most creative works of the band, the band treats it with mixed feelings.
