Arkady Dmitrievich Severny (real name - Zvezdin; March 12, 1939, Ivanovo - April 12, 1980, Leningrad) was a Soviet musician and singer, performer of songs of modern urban folklore, author's uncensored songs, romances and stylizations. He had an original timbre of voice and an expressive artistic presentation of the song. He could vividly beat a song in any style, from romantic to jazz.
