Flaming Pie is the tenth solo studio album by Paul McCartney, released in 1997. This is McCartney's first studio album, after his previous studio album Off the Ground, released in 1993; these four years McCartney was mainly busy working on The Beatles Anthology project. In the album's liner notes, McCartney wrote: "(The Anthology) reminded me of the standards we held to during The Beatles' time; the standards of how we worked on songs.
