Matrices A-P2W/B-P2W, a rare British original of the cult prog band. The sixth studio album by the progressive rock band Caravan, released in 1975. It was their first album with bass guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Mike Wedgwood. The album's title is a spoonerism for "Stunning Cunts", which is characteristic of their bold use of language. The three previous Caravan albums with titles that are also sexual word games, If I Could Do It Again, I Would Do It Again With You (1970), In the Land of Gray and Pink (1971) and For Girls Who Plump at Night (1973). ...more

SANDRA-CLOSE TO SEVEN-1992-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-VIRGIN-LP212576/LPVIR13-PM264 is a very rare original of the cult album released only in Germany. Close to Seven is the fifth studio album by German singer Sandra, released in February 1992. Close to Seven was entirely produced by Michel Cretu. The style of the songs departs from the dance and leans towards the meditative. Three songs from the album — "Don't Be Aggressive", "I Need Love", "No Taboo" - were also released as separate singles. The song "Shadows" is a new version of Michel Cretu's song "Shadows over My Head" from his 1979 album "Moon, Light and Flowers". "Steady Me— - the album's promotional single - was not released separately Although the album Close to Seven did not sell as well as its predecessors, it was a commercial success and remains Sandra's second album to reach number 7 on the German charts. A 1957 studio album by American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, accompanied by Duke Ellington and his orchestra, dedicated to Ellington's songs. Part of the Fitzgerald Songbook series, this is the only one where the composer also appears as a performer, and the first time Fitzgerald recorded with Ellington. It is also the entry in the Songbook series that gave her the most opportunities to demonstrate her skill in singing scat. Most of the third disc is dedicated to two original compositions by Billy Strayhorn, inspired by the life, character and artistry of Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald's recording on this album earned her the Grammy Award for Best Individual Jazz Performance at the 1st Annual Grammy Awards. The album was released in two volumes: In the first volume was Fitzgerald with the Ellington Orchestra, in the second-Fitzgerald with a small group. This album marked the beginning of a fruitful creative relationship between Fitzgerald and Ellington. A rare British original .  Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo studio album by Beatles band member John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during Lennon and Yoko Ono's long separation. Elton John took part in the recording of the song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night". He bet Lennon that this song could take the first place in the American charts (which had not previously been possible for any of Lennon's solo singles). In case that happened, Lennon was obliged to take part in an Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise because "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" really managed to climb to the top of the chart. The composition "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on Lennon's solo albums. In the song "Ya Ya", Lennon's eleven-year-old son Julian plays drums. ...more
