ERIC BURDON BAND -STOP-1975-FIRST PRESS USA-CAPITOL-SMAS11425. A rare original in a very rare top condition. Stop is a hard rock/R and B album by the first incarnation of Eric Burdon's band, which included Burdon, John Sterling, Kim Kesterson and Terry Ryan. The band was formed in 1971, after Burdon left his previous band War to record an album with Jimmy Witherspoon. They recorded the 1971 album Guilty! and then, without Witherspoon, this album. Released only in July 1975, it did not have a single hit, but enjoyed some success on the American chart, reaching both American and Canadian albums. A bright red and white cover cut octagonally in the shape of a traffic stop sign. Inside the spread, a large black-and-white portrait of Burdon is depicted on one surface. SWEET SMOKE-JUST A POKE-1970-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-COLUMBIA-1C062-28886 is a very rare German original of one of the most iconic albums of prog music. Sweet Smoke is an American band formed in 1967 and played progressive rock. This is primarily a live band known for its long, impromptu performances.  It was created by Andrew Dershin, Mike Paris, Victor Sacco, Jay Dorfman and Merwin Kaminowitz in Brooklyn, New York. In the beginning, the band played in American clubs in front of a small audience. Then she moved to the Virgin Islands under the name "Ice Company", because the management of local clubs believed that the name "Sweet Smoke" ("Fragrant Smoke") and the hippie image were too provocative. After spending a short time in the Caribbean, the group moved to Germany at the end of 1969, where its members received the support of the famous German sculptor Waldemar Kuhn. Their first album Just A Poke in 1970 consisted of only two long songs Baby Night (16:22 min) and Silly Sally (16:24 min). The first is probably the band's most famous composition, mainly due to the distinctive melodies of Michael Paris' flute. The second one is remembered by Dorfman's long drum solo, played in a stereo effect (the so-called ping-pong effect). A rare British original in the Gatefold version of the cult album . Still is a compilation album by the British rock band Joy Division, released in 1981. Still was released on two records: the first one contained previously unreleased studio songs from 1978-80, as well as a concert cover version of The Velvet Underground song; the second one contained a recording of the band's last concert. The album was scheduled for release in August 1981, but was released only in October. In the UK hit parade, the album took 5th place. The name of the album is an antonym of the name of the debut album Movement ("Movement") of the New Order group, formed from the members of Joy Division a year earlier, released in the same fall. ...more

ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union.
