A rare European original legend in rock music. Still Got the Blues is the eighth studio album by Northern Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released in 1990. The album marked a significant change in style for Moore, [1] [2] who prior to this album was primarily known for his hard rock work with Thin Lizzy, G-Force, Greg Lake, and during his extensive solo career, as well as his jazz fusion work with Colosseum II. As the name suggests, Still Got The Blues demonstrates Moore's commitment to electric blues. The title track was released as a single and peaked at # 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 16, 1991. [4] To date, it is Moore's only single to chart on this chart. On February 16, 1991, the album peaked at number 83 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the RIAA in November 1995. TERRE HAUTE PRESS.  A very rare American original of the cult album. Waiting for the Sun is the third studio album by American rock band The Doors, released in July 1968. The CD was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio (Los Angeles). It was originally planned that it would be based on the 25-minute composition "The Celebration of Lizard", but after listening to the recorded material, which only Morrison was satisfied with, this idea had to be abandoned. The album also did not include the title song, which was transferred to the album Morrison Hotel. While working on the album, Morrison often got drunk, which infuriated producer Paul Rothschild. Despite its roughness, as well as a barrage of criticism, the album reached the first line in the national hit parade. ...more

The result was one of King's most critically acclaimed albums and one of the most highly acclaimed blues crossover albums of all time. The album appeared on several Billboard album charts in 1970, peaking at number 26 on the Pop Albums chart, number seven on the Jazz Albums chart, and number eight on Billboard's "Black Albums" list. The album also spawned several hit singles "Chains and Things", King's own song "Don't Ask Me Questions" and Leon Russell's song "Hummingbird". King himself also considers the album one of his greatest achievements.
