After the release of the album , critics wrote: There is a clear discrepancy between the sheer ambition of this CD and its rather modest status in Santana's discography. The reason, obviously, is that the powerful swing did not quite succeed. We can say that this album is a continuation of the storyline started on Love, Devotion, Surrender with John McLaughlin. Here we are again witnessing a mighty spiritual message and free jazz arrivals. Here, Santana's partner is Alice Coltrane, the widow of the famous jazz musician. LOVE SCULPTURE-BLUES HELPING-1968-FIRST PRESS UK-PARLOPHONE-PCS7059. A very rare British original of the cult band. Their debut album Blues Helping included the songs "Summertime" and "Wang Dang Doodle". They are best known for their new 1968 hit on the UK singles chart, a high-speed cover version of Aram Khachaturian's classic piece "Dance with a Saber", released on the Parlophone label (R 5744), which reached number 5 on the UK Singles chart in December 1968. The recording was inspired by Keith Emerson's classic permutations. "Sabre Dance" became a hit after the broadcast of British DJ John Peel, who was so impressed that he played it twice in the same program.. In December 1968, the British music magazine NME reported that Love Sculpture had signed a recording contract in the US with London Records guaranteeing 250,000 pounds. The band also received an invitation to perform "Sabre Dance" live on the German television program Beat-Club on Radio Bremen, which was broadcast in Germany at the time.  ...more

A rare German original of the cult album. Child in Time is the debut album by the British jazz rock band Ian Gillan Band, released in 1976. The album got its name from the Deep Purple song "Child in Time", a version of which appeared on the record. The album reached number 36 in the Swedish charts and number 55 in the UK.It was Ian Gillan's first release after leaving Deep Purple, as well as his former Deep Purple bandmate bassist Roger Glover as the album's producer. ...more

A rare British original .  Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo studio album by Beatles band member John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during Lennon and Yoko Ono's long separation. Elton John took part in the recording of the song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night". He bet Lennon that this song could take the first place in the American charts (which had not previously been possible for any of Lennon's solo singles). In case that happened, Lennon was obliged to take part in an Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise because "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" really managed to climb to the top of the chart. The composition "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on Lennon's solo albums. In the song "Ya Ya", Lennon's eleven-year-old son Julian plays drums. ...more
