BIG BROTHER AND THE HOLDING COMPANY-CHEAP THRILLS-1968-FIRST PRESS USA-COLUMBIA-KCS9700. A very rare original of the cult album JANIS JOPLIN. Cheap Thrills is the second studio album by Big Brother and the Holding Company, released in August 1968. "Cheap Thrills" achieved great success: by October, it reached number one on the Billboard chart and turned out to be the best-selling album of 1968, with a circulation of just under a million copies. The song Piece of My Heart became a hit, which was subsequently performed by many other musicians, and the performance of Summertime from the opera Porgy and Bess turned into one of the most memorable and frequently used recordings by Janis Joplin. The album cover was created by the famous illustrator Robert Crumb. The name "Cheap Thrills" can be translated into Russian as "cheap passions", "low-grade fun".

The CD was released after the extraordinary success of Band on the Run and also became very popular. Paul McCartney's first album with Capitol Records. After the release of Band on the Run, Wings also included Jimmy McCulloch (lead guitarist) and Jeff Britton (drummer) in 1974. After McCartney wrote several new songs for the upcoming album, the band flew to New Orleans in January 1975 to record Venus and Mars.Britton, after an argument with McCulloch, left the band, having managed to participate in the recording of only three songs of the album. He was urgently picked up a replacement-American Joe English, with whom the recording was continued. McCartney made the songs in Venus and Mars flow smoothly into each other, and the album in this sense became similar to the Beatles ' Abbey Road album. The album was received very warmly, and in all countries of the continent it reaches the Top 10 of the charts. OUT OF FOCUS-WAKE UP!-1971-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-KUCKUCK- 2375006. One of the best prog albums in Germany on a prestigious label. Out Of Focus is a German krautrock-rock fusion band formed at the end of 1968 in Munich: Hennes Herring - keyboards (mainly Hammond organ), Remigius Drexler - guitar, Hans-Georg Neumuller - vocals and brass, Klaus Speri - drums and Stefan Visheu - bass. Out of Focus got their name from the track Blue Cheer, but were also influenced by Soft Machine and Xhol Caravan and quickly created a special style mixing rock, jazz and psychedelic overtones. The band's music was known for the socio-political propaganda present in Moran Neumuller's songs. Despite the typical Munich style, they are often compared to the Canterbury fusion of Britain and Scandinavian jazz-rock.  ...more

SAVOY BROWN-LOOKING IN-1970-THE FIRST UK-DECCA-SKL5066 Matrix A-1W/B-1W PRESS. A rare British original of the cult blues-rock band. Looking In is the sixth album by British blues band Savoy Brown. The album featured "Lonesome" Dave Peverett on vocals after Chris Yulden left the band last spring. Leader/guitarist Kim Simmonds will be the only band member to continue working with the band after this album, as all the other band members left to form Foghat next year. It was released by Decca in 1970 (SKL 5066). For release in the USA and Canada, the cassettes were leased to Parrot Records (PAS 71042). The album spent a week in the official UK charts and reached number 50. It performed significantly better in the US, where it spent 19 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 39, their second-highest album on the US charts. ...more
