After Alice Cooper returned to the big stage in 1986 (since 1983, the musician has been undergoing treatment for alcoholism), and the release of the relatively successful albums Constrictor and Raise Your Fist and Yell, Alice Cooper decided to consolidate success. To do this, he, firstly, did not renew his contract with MCA and signed a contract with the record company Epic, and secondly, invited the famous musician and producer Desmond Child, who was widely known for his work with Kiss, Bon Jovi and Bonnie Tyler. Desmond Child became the producer and co-writer of the album. It was released by Decca in the UK and Parrot in the US in September 1969. This is the last album recorded with longtime pianist Bob Hall. The album track "Made Up My Mind" first appeared as the B-side of an American single on Parrot Records 45-40039 (released in June 1969), accompanied by "Train to Nowhere" from their album Blue Matter. The track "Waiting in the Bamboo Grove" would later be released as the B-side of the British Decca single F 13019 (released in May 1970) "A Hard Way To Go" from their album. Raw siena.
