What Crisis? is the fourth studio album by the prog rock band Supertramp, released in 1975. Crisis? What Crisis? the band's first CD recorded in the USA (Los Angeles). The title of the album is taken from Fred Zinnerman's feature film "The Day of the Jackal", released in 1973. Allmusic fully praised the album in their retrospective review, praising Rick Davis' keyboard work, Roger Hodgson's vocals, and John Helliwell's saxophone. DEEP PURPLE-PERFECT STRANGERS-1984-THE FIRST HOLLAND-POLYDOR 823777-1 PRESS is a rare European original in top condition. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple and the first recorded by the reunited "classic line—up" of the band, released in November 1984.  At the beginning of October, Perfect Strangers was mixed, and on November 16 it went on sale, rising to 5th place in Britain and 17th in the USA. Blackmore, known for his clumsiness, joked that the album should finally be called the 1974 album, hinting that the last album recorded in this line-up was released back in 1973 (Who Do We Think We Are). Such zeal did not remain without consequences: the album turned out to be very successful, quickly became platinum, took 5th place in the UK charts and 17th place in the USA. Deep Purple embarked on a world tour, culminating in a performance in front of 80,000 British fans at Knebworth Park in June 1985. ...more
