The album was released in the USA on June 7, 1976 by Capitol Records (catalog number SKBO 11537), in the UK on June 10, 1976 by Parlophone (catalog number PCSP 719); at that time, some media suggested that the album was released on the twentieth anniversary of the first meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. If this was indeed the intention, then EMI made a mistake in their calculations, since in reality these two first met in July 1957. The album's title, Rock ’n’ Roll Music, is most likely taken from a Chuck Berry song, a version of which performed by The Beatles was included on the second side of the album. The album mainly consists of cover versions of songs written by such prominent rock and roll authors and performers of the 1950s as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Carl Perkins and Larry Williams, as well as notable original songs by the Lennon-McCartney duo, such as "Drive My Car", "Revolution", "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Get Back". A rare original of the cult album . "Technical Ecstasy" is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Black Sabbath, released in 1976. Musically, the CD is a further development of the musical ideas of the guitarist and main composer of the band Tony Iommi. Just like on the last two albums, on Technical Ecstasy, simple and short songs such as "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor" contrast with longer and more complex songs such as "You Won't Change Me" and "Dirty Women". The source material was somewhat spoiled by unimportant production [the source is not specified for 102 days, and therefore could not repeat the commercial success of its predecessor, the album Sabotage (1975). Nevertheless, partly thanks to the beautiful songs, and partly thanks to the big name "Black Sabbath", this album sold steadily and eventually received its "platinum" in the UK and "gold" in the USA.
