By the time Computerwelt was released, pop music had already counted dozens of successful electronic bands who, having adopted Kraftwerk's previous ideas, took them to the next level; against this background, the Kraftwerk album was not so revolutionary. In the aspect of the band's creativity, the record, nevertheless, is considered strong, not least due to innovative rhythms. A year later, the rhythm of the song Numbers and the melody of Trans-Europa Express from the album of the same name were used in the composition of Africa Bambata Planet Rock, which had a great influence on the further development of hip-hop and electro. ...more

The album was reissued in the USSR in 1986 by Melodiya under the title Alla Pugacheva in Stockholm.However, the Soviet edition included fewer songs than were on the original Swedish album. The total sales of the two editions amounted to 3,200,000 copies. For the release of this record, the American company Ampex awarded the singer and all the other participants of the recording a Gold Disc in March 1989.   ...more
