Very rare original cult album .  Appetite for Destruction is the debut Studio album by American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, Geffen released July 21, 1987. According to some estimates, the total circulation of the plate was 27 million copies, according to the other 32 million. According to Billboard 200, the most successful debut album in the US in the number of copies sold. Originally the album cover was an illustration by Robert Williams depicting a monster with daggers for teeth, attacking the robot, bent over the insensible woman in a torn dress and with pants down. Numerous complaints from various religious and social organizations have forced many stores to sell CD's wrapped in brown paper or some other way to close the figure, or to opt out of album sales. As a result, the cover design was changed - he was placed the drawing of the tattoo which makes it the Axl Rose. ATLANTIS-SAME-1972-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-VERTIGO-6360609. A rare original continuation of the cult prog group FRUMPY. Atlantis was formed at the end of the summer of 1972 by Inga Rumpf (vocals), Jean-Jacques Kravets (keyboards) and Karl-Heinz Schott (bass). These musicians previously played in the band Frumpy. The founding members also included guitarist Frank Dees and drummer Kurt Kress (formerly of the band Emergency). After several live performances in Germany, the first LP was released at Island Records Studio in London, which was widely recognized, especially in the United States, where Rumpf's bluesy vocals were appreciated. Diz and Kress left the band after recording. For a four-week tour of England with Procol Harum and Traffic, George Meyer joined Atlantis as guitarist and Udo Lindenberg joined Atlantis as drummer. After the tour, they were replaced by Dieter Bornschlegel (who had previously worked with the band Dreamtorte) and Ringo Funk (who had previously worked with Geronimo), with whom the second album It's Getting Better (1973) was recorded. ...more
