It was released on October 16, 1981 on RCA Records. The album was co-produced with Krautrock producer Connie Planck in his studio in Cologne, and features numerous guest musicians, including Blondie drummer Clem Burke, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft drummer Robert Gerl and the duo Can Holger Chukay and Jaki Liebezeit (Jaki Liebezeit), informs . ATLANTIS-SAME-1972-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-VERTIGO-6360609. A rare original continuation of the cult prog group FRUMPY. Atlantis was formed at the end of the summer of 1972 by Inga Rumpf (vocals), Jean-Jacques Kravets (keyboards) and Karl-Heinz Schott (bass). These musicians previously played in the band Frumpy. The founding members also included guitarist Frank Dees and drummer Kurt Kress (formerly of the band Emergency). After several live performances in Germany, the first LP was released at Island Records Studio in London, which was widely recognized, especially in the United States, where Rumpf's bluesy vocals were appreciated.
