Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sales totaled four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was supplanted by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to the 1st place again (in the Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was displaced by the second Led Zeppelin record - Led Zeppelin II. Recorded in January 1970, it became a groundbreaking work in the emerging genre of jazz-rock fusion. Band leader Ian Carr (later a jazz journalist and published expert on Miles Davis) was probably inspired by Davis' "going electric" in 1969, but the original song Bitches Brew had not yet been released at the time of Elastic Rock recording, and according to Carr, they had not even heard Davis' 1969 electric release. less influenced by rock, In a Silent Way. It was released in 1972, after Joplin's death, as a double album. The first record contains performances with Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the second with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, recorded in different locations in 1968 and 1970. There are no live recordings from her first solo work with the Kozmic Blues band on the album, although the songs produced with this group were performed in Full Tilt Boogie Band recordings. The photographs used for the gatefold album were taken by photographer David Gar in New York in 1969 and 1970. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in the US. ...more

A rare original of the cult concert. The Concerts in China is a live album by Jean-Michel Jarre recorded in 1981 and released in 1982 on the label  Dreyfus. The album was recorded during Jarre's tour in China in the fall of 1981, which consisted of five concerts in China in Beijing and Shanghai; it was the first performance by a Western pop artist in China after the Cultural Revolution. One of the original compositions of the album – "Arpégiateur" – was used in the soundtrack to the movie "9½ weeks", as well as in several episodes of the mid-1980s American soap opera "Santa Barbara". The opening track "The Overture" is the first slow-motion part of "Magnetic Fields Part 1". The album reached number 6 in the UK charts, No. 1 in Portugal and No. 76 in Australia.  ...more
