THE FLOCK is the first album by a very interesting American band that worked at the junction of jazz, blues and rock. The Flock failed to achieve the commercial success of other jazz-rock bands of the era, such as Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears, but they became quite famous due to the inclusion of the violin in the group. The eleventh album of a prog band from Germany. Since the appearance of the album "Performance" on the shelves of stores, a barrage of accusations from critics immediately fell on the heads of the musicians. Eloy was accused of imitating and repeating themselves! According to critics, there was nothing new in this album, but just a repetition of the previous Time To Turn! But, despite the attacks on the band, the audience received the album quite warmly! Perofrmance is a disc very characteristic of Eloy in the first half of the 80s, Bornemann seems to still not be able to decide what to play for them: either metal, or space rock. The band originally consisted of married couple Denis and Denise Lepage, who had a number one dance hit in the US in 1981 with the song "Your Love". Lime released their debut album Your Love in 1981. The title track became a gold record and a No. 1 hit on the Billboard disco chart in the United States.
