GUNS N' ROSES-G N' R LIES-1988-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-GERMANY-GEFFEN 24198. A very rare club original of a cult band. G N’ R Lies (also known as Lies) is the second studio album by Guns N’ Roses, released in 1988. According to the RIAA, it has sold over five million copies in the United States alone, becoming instantly multi-platinum. The first four tracks were previously released on the EP Live?!*@ Like a Suicide. The last four songs were recorded using acoustic guitars. They were written and recorded in just a few sessions in the studio (with the exception of "You're Crazy", which was included on the alternate version of the album Appetite for Destruction). In later interviews, Axl Rose said that he liked the way the band sounded on the last four songs, but he hated the sound of his voice. Rose recalled that his voice was hoarse and rough due to the band's long tours at that time, and if he could, he would have re-recorded his vocal parts. "You're Crazy" was released earlier on the band's debut album, Appetite for Destruction and is recorded in this album as originally intended. ...more

SINATRA, FRANK -SINATRA'S SWINGING SESSION-1961-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-CAPITOL-SW-1491. A rare American original of the iconic album. Sinatra Swings (originally titled "Swing with Me") is an album by Frank Sinatra with Billy May and his orchestra, released in 1961. The two album titles stem from the fact that Capitol believed that this album, originally titled "Rock with Me", was so close in sound and title to Sinatra's earlier Capitol album "Let's Rock with Me!" that the label sought and was satisfied with a court order requiring Reprise to change the name of this, only his second Reprise album, to Sinatra Swings. Re-printing was not required to recall the already shipped records, but new labels and covers had to be printed, and the album cover announced that it contained "twelve of the most uninhibited things Sinatra has ever recorded." The tracks were arranged and conducted by Billy May and his orchestra. Sinatra had a minor hit with the single "Granada" included on this album. ...more
