Time Flies is the third Studio album by Vaya Con Dios, which at the moment were mostly female group. Even more than previous albums, this is a melancholic album and is more focused on Blues and soul. The reason for the topic is that Vaya Con Dios was mainly the partnership of Dani Klein and Dirk Supsa, and in 1991 the pair fell heavily. The release of Gracias Por La Música was prompted by the band's unexpected rise in popularity in Latin American countries such as Mexico and Argentina, following the release of Spanish-language versions of the songs " Chiquitita "and"I Have a Dream". The band members decided to record eight more songs in Spanish and release a full-length album specifically for this market. Buddy and Mary McCluskey, who worked at RCA Records in Argentina, were invited to translate the lyrics.
