SINATRA, FRANK -SINATRA'S SWINGING SESSION-1961-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-CAPITOL-SW-1491. A rare American original of the iconic album. Sinatra Swings (originally titled "Swing with Me") is an album by Frank Sinatra with Billy May and his orchestra, released in 1961. The two album titles stem from the fact that Capitol believed that this album, originally titled "Rock with Me", was so close in sound and title to Sinatra's earlier Capitol album "Let's Rock with Me!" that the label sought and was satisfied with a court order requiring Reprise to change the name of this, only his second Reprise album, to Sinatra Swings. Re-printing was not required to recall the already shipped records, but new labels and covers had to be printed, and the album cover announced that it contained "twelve of the most uninhibited things Sinatra has ever recorded." The tracks were arranged and conducted by Billy May and his orchestra. Sinatra had a minor hit with the single "Granada" included on this album.

QUEEN-A NIGHT AT THE OPERA-1975-THE FIRST UK PRESS-EMI - EMTC103.Matrices A-2/B. (on the second side, the matrix is Scandinavian without a digit.) A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and it held the top position in the UK charts for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is generally believed that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album, "God Save the Queen", is the British national anthem arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably ended each concert of the band. The album was ranked number 230 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003, and number 128 on the 2020 list. ...more

MOORE GARY-AFTER HOUR-1992-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-VIRGIN-212558. A rare original legend in rock music. After Hours is a studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released on March 10, 1992. After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. Allmusic reviewer David Genzen called After Hours "as impressive" as Still Got the Blues. ...more
